Early childhood is full of milestones - each marking an important step forward in your child's development.

Our Child Milestone Records map each child's social and learning progress and help us meet their individual needs. These include staff observations, key achievements and examples of your child's work, together with individual learning stories.

By observing and engaging, staff know how each child is advancing and when it is time for their transition from one group to the next.

The children fill their day with many experiences and varied activities. Their art work is a source of joy and discovery to them. Tinytown encourages parents to take an interest in their child's work, take it home and display it, encourage your child to greater exploration and enjoyment in creativity.

Each child attending Tinytown for more than a short period of time will have a portfolio made of their work. The portfolio will contain a sample of the work your child does along with photographs and stories about your child's day.

Tinytown staff keep daily records of very young children. These contain information on routines, meals, sleep, activities, development etc. These are made available nightly to each parent of an infant.

Tinytown provide booklets for parent's information on a range of issues such as child management, settling children, child biting, value of stories, nutrition, school readiness and ADD/ADHD information with further booklets envisaged in the future.
