Tinytown works at keeping their staff for long periods. This means stability in the centre and with the children.
Tinytown staff are required under legislation to have a Diploma/Bachelor of Teaching ECE, or working towards a full qualification. As part of Tinytown's desire to seek continuous improvements in the quality of its work, we have a pro-active approach to staff development. Tinytown aims to ensure that all of its staff, teaching and administrative undergo ongoing professional development, and to ensure that their skills are relevant and up to date.
Tinytown offers
On the job training, staff manuals, information, consultation and guidance towards enrolling with an NZQA approved and accredited early childhood training provider. Staff development seminars are held at each complex or in the Tinytown Conference Centre.
